The fully equipped kitchen features modern touches including a dishwasher and Nespresso-style coffee maker for coffee lovers, while comfortable couches, Smart TV and a heat pump keep you cosy and entertained year-round.

A family beach break
With three bedrooms, open-plan living and a cot available for little ones, Moeraki Beach Haven gives families room to enjoy time together by the sea. The kitchen, washing machine and outdoor shower make beach days easier.
For families with young children: the property is partially fenced and the road runs between the house and the sea. Please supervise children outdoors and when heading to the beach.
Moeraki offers excellent fishing and lovely coastal walks including the Millennium Walkway. You’re well placed for day trips to Dunedin, Central Otago, nearby fishing lakes and wildlife viewing at Katiki Point – home to fur seals and yellow-eyed penguins.
When you’re ready to sample local flavours, the nearby Moeraki Tavern serves famous blue cod and chips, while the Moeraki Boulders Café offers another delicious option just minutes away.
Any security bond, if applicable, will be itemised in your written quote before payment, including when and how it is returned. There are external cameras pointing toward the road outside the property at the back and side of the house for security.

The estimate uses our starting rate of NZ$200 per night plus NZ$100 cleaning. It is not a live availability check or a final quote. We’ll confirm your dates and exact total before payment.
How direct booking works
Example minimum stay: two nights from NZ$200 per night (NZ$400) plus a NZ$100 cleaning fee = NZ$500 total for up to six guests. Every booking has a two-night minimum.
To confirm a direct booking, pay a 50% deposit after receiving your written quote. In this example, that is NZ$250 now and a NZ$250 balance due seven days before arrival. For bookings made within seven days of arrival, the full quoted amount is due on confirmation.
Nightly rates vary by date. Send your arrival and departure dates and guest numbers; we’ll check availability and confirm the exact total and any applicable bond in writing before you pay.
Direct booking cancellation & arrival
Please cancel by email. For guest cancellations:
- At least 14 days before arrival: full refund of payments made.
- 7–13 days before arrival: half the deposit refunded; any balance paid refunded.
- Fewer than 7 days before arrival: deposit retained; any balance paid refunded.
If we rebook your cancelled dates, we’ll refund any retained deposit, less reasonable costs we cannot recover. If we cancel because we cannot provide the home, we’ll refund all payments made. These terms do not limit your rights under New Zealand consumer law. Platform bookings follow the cancellation policy shown on the platform you use.
Self check-in: entry is via the smart lock on the door. We’ll send your access code privately the day before arrival, along with your check-in instructions.

Moeraki Boulders & Koekohe Beach
Visit the famous spherical Moeraki Boulders scattered along Koekohe Beach – one of New Zealand’s most photographed natural attractions. They’re best enjoyed around low tide with a camera in hand.

Sample local flavours at the Moeraki Tavern with its well-known blue cod and chips, or enjoy coffee and meals at the Moeraki Boulders Café. Or simply grab takeaway and watch the boats in the harbour.
